The Iraqi automotive market continues to diversify its offerings with the official arrival of a major Japanese brand. Mazda has formally commenced operations in Iraq this month, signaling a strong commitment to expanding its footprint within the Middle East. The brand's entry is being managed and facilitated by Al-Aroush Company, which serves as the official and exclusive dealer for Mazda in the country.

Mazda's strategic rollout begins with the inauguration of a primary flagship showroom located in the capital city of Baghdad. This initial launch will be closely followed by the opening of a second major showroom in the northern city of Sulaymaniyah, ensuring geographical coverage across key demographic areas. Corporate statements indicate that Al-Aroush has long-term expansion plans designed to establish Mazda showrooms in other major Iraqi cities in the near future.

To support the physical launch, the company has also unveiled a dedicated local digital presence via its official website, mazda-iraq.com. The initial lineup of vehicles available to the Iraqi consumer focuses heavily on Mazda's highly regarded crossover and sedan platforms. Pricing strategies have been clearly outlined for the market. The popular CX-5 starts at 34,900,000 IQD, while the compact CX-30 Core is priced at 32,900,000 IQD.

For sedan enthusiasts, the standard Mazda 3 begins at 29,900,000 IQD. Moving up to the premium segment, Mazda is introducing its higher-tier SUVs to the market, with the CX-60 High priced at 49,900,000 IQD and the flagship three-row CX-90 High available for 59,900,000 IQD. This diverse lineup ensures Mazda can compete across multiple price points and vehicle categories within Iraq.
